Vascanox HP (Nitric Oxide / Noxa24)
No randomized trial has been run.
Grade D, not yet tested: no human randomized trial has been run. This D records missing trials, not a finding that it does not work. How to read a grade →
This product is a blend sold to raise nitric oxide, a gas that helps blood vessels relax. It has never been tested against a dummy pill. The only study gave it to 12 adults, with no comparison group, and the authors had ties to the company. A study like that cannot tell whether the product did anything. So its claims have not been tested in a fair way.
A letter describes the human evidence, not the product, the manufacturer, or the ingredient's worth.
See the full evidence record →Who responds: this record's trial reading reports no subgroup that identifies who responds.
Investigators: The single trial this Grade D rests on was run by investigators employed by, founded by, or belonging to the organization that developed, sells or teaches the intervention (Calroy Health Sciences, which sells the product, with an author on its staff and an author-held patent application covering the composition). The funder may read non-commercial; the people who ran the trial are part of the organization whose intervention they tested, which is stated here so it can be weighed alongside the letter.
No human randomized trial has tested this at the dose and form graded, so there is nothing for a higher letter to rest on. A Route 1 Grade D records the absence of trials. It is not a finding against the compound, and it is not a finding that the compound is safe, because neither has been established. It may turn out to work once someone tests it. The grade moves when a qualifying human trial reports.
No randomized trial of this formula; one open-label Everyone in the trial knows which treatment they are receiving, so expectations can shape the results, especially for symptoms people report themselves. study of 12 adults, with authors tied to the maker, and no control arm.

evidence_type read rct on a record whose only study is open-label and uncontrolled and whose best use says no randomized trial has been run; it now reads as a single uncontrolled study. The ref described 12 hypertensive adults; Houston et al. (Cureus, 2023; PMID PubMed ID: the permanent number the US National Library of Medicine gives a published paper. Each one links to that paper's record on PubMed. 37849591) enrolled adults with elevated pressure or mild hypertension, and the diastolic fall was confined to those with raised diastolic pressure. The ref now also says the paper's efficacy conclusion is beyond what the design can show. The absence check was re-run with the same result. D Route 1 unchanged. Applied the written grade definition under the editor's standing instruction of October 2026 (Arnold Sandlow, D.C.).PMID 37849591
Ties stated beside the letter. The single open-label study, Houston 2023 (PMID 37849591), has an author on the staff of Calroy Health Sciences, which sells the product, and its authors hold a patent application covering the composition. The indexed record names no funder. Letter unchanged.PMID 37849591

2 capsules in the morning. Noxa24 proprietary blend: fermented black garlic (S-allylcysteine), beetroot extract, berry extracts, potassium nitrate.
Noxa24 is the only studied formulation. Individual components (beetroot nitrate, aged garlic) have independent evidence bases that are stronger than the branded formulation. Generic beetroot + garlic supplements are not equivalent to the specific Noxa24 extract ratios.
In the cited study, two capsules were taken each morning (PMID 37849591). The report does not say whether they were taken with food.

How to buy this: quality criteria, not a brand
2 capsules in the morning with food (Noxa24 blend).
Honest note: the individual components (beetroot nitrate, aged garlic / S-allylcysteine) have stronger standalone evidence than the branded Noxa24 blend.
If buying the blend, Noxa24; otherwise consider studied beetroot + aged-garlic separately.
Assuming generic beetroot+garlic equals the Noxa24 ratios; paying a blend premium when components may serve you better.
The grade and these criteria are set only from human trials. Any purchase link is convenience and does not affect the grade.
Anyone taking a PDE-5 inhibitor such as sildenafil or tadalafil, or a nitrate. Both work through the same nitric oxide pathway, and the combination risks severe hypotension. Anyone whose blood pressure is already being driven low by treatment.
PDE-5 inhibitors and nitrates: same pathway, additive effect, and hypotension is the failure mode. This is the sharpest interaction on the entry. Antihypertensives of every class: additive blood-pressure lowering. Antiplatelets: nitric oxide inhibits platelet aggregation, so the effect adds. These are pharmacological expectations; no human interaction study of this product has been published.
Mechanism-based, no human interaction study located. The drug interactions described for Vascanox HP (Nitric Oxide / Noxa24) are mechanism-based. A PubMed search for human interaction, pharmacokinetic or co-administration studies pairing it with antihypertensive, antiplatelet, nitrates returned no results in August 2026. The caution stands on pharmacology, not on a trial, and is labeled as such. Basis: pharmacological mechanism, not a human study. Searched PubMed in August 2026: 3 queries, 0 human results.
No validated human outcome to track. Research context only.

Houston et al. (Cureus, 2023; PMID 37849591): open-label, uncontrolled, 12 adults with elevated blood pressure or mild hypertension, 4 weeks, no placebo An inactive substitute made to look like the real treatment, so participants cannot tell which one they received. and no blinding. Systolic pressure fell about 11 mmHg; diastolic pressure fell about 11 mmHg in the participants with raised diastolic pressure and not in those whose diastolic pressure was normal. The authors' conclusion that the product is safe, effective, quick-acting and long-lasting is not something an uncontrolled 4-week study of 12 people can show. Funding: one author is on the staff of Calroy Health Sciences, which sells the product tested, and the authors declare a United States patent application and an international application covering the composition; the indexed record names no funder. D Route 1: no randomized trial of this formula, one open-label study, no control arm, no replication The same finding reproduced by a separate research group. A result seen once can be chance or bias; a replicated one is harder to explain away..
The individual active components have stronger independent evidence: beetroot nitrate has multiple proper RCTs Randomized controlled trial: people are assigned to the treatment or a comparison by chance, so the groups differ only in what they received. It is the design that can show cause and effect. for blood pressure (Grade B as a standalone ingredient); aged garlic extract (S-allylcysteine) has meta-analysis A study that pools the numbers from several trials into one combined estimate. support for BP reduction (Ried 2016, PMID 26764326). As a branded formulation specifically, Vascanox HP has only one open-label n=12 trial. Manufactured by Calroy Health Sciences (same company as Arterosil). Grade upgrade to B requires: a randomized, double-blind Neither the participants nor the people assessing them know who received the real treatment until the trial ends., placebo-controlled trial with n>30. The 24-hour NO elevation claim is from a single study using saliva test strips, not yet independently replicated.

How this is enforced
That is not a promise, it is a build condition. Two checks run on every deploy: one refuses to publish if a commission is claimed on anything graded, the other refuses if a page names a commercial relationship that is not declared in the register. If either fails, this page does not go live. You can read how the checks work, and what they do not cover, on the evidence integrity page.
