The pre-visit brief: one page for the clinician

A single page a clinician can read in about a minute before a visit. It gathers what you have already entered in EBL’s tools: the medications and supplements on your Physician Discussion Sheet, and what you started and measured in personal tracking. Each line shows what its EBL record says, with a link to the trials.

Nothing here is a ranking or an instruction. The brief lists, and ends in questions; the clinician makes every decision. Everything stays in this browser.

How the brief is put together

Where each line comes from

Medications are listed with the one sentence EBL uses everywhere it summarizes a medication’s nutrient effects: only rows its record tiers as well documented or moderate, worded as lowering, raising or interacting by what each row describes. Supplements and longevity drugs carry their overall letter and their letters for each use. A letter answers one question about one outcome, so the list is in the order you entered it, not ranked.

Cautions list two things only: an interaction between a listed supplement and a listed medication that EBL has a cited source for, and harms seen in trials on a listed record. Suspected and mechanistic cautions stay on each record, beside their tier.

“Since the last visit” lists the letter changes EBL logged on the listed records after the date you set, and anything you recorded starting after it. “Started, expected, measured” is the before-and-after view from personal tracking, read the same way and in the same words. A retest is listed as due when its date falls in the next 30 days, or has passed with no reading since.

What happens to your data

Nothing here leaves this device. The brief reads what your other EBL tools already keep in this browser and saves one thing of its own, the date of the last visit. Nothing is sent to EBL or anyone else. Printing or showing the page is how it reaches the clinician.
