Evidence Based Longevity (EBL)
Disclosures

Affiliate & medical disclaimer.

EBL is committed to full transparency about how the site is funded, how evidence is evaluated, and what our content does and does not represent. The disclosures below are required by law and reflect our standard of operating honestly. Evidence Based Longevity, Inc., a California corporation formed on 1 September 2026, operates this site and is the party to which every disclosure below applies. Read them carefully before relying on any content on this site.

Section 01

FTC Affiliate Disclosure

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), Evidence Based Longevity discloses that this site contains affiliate links.

What this means. Some links to ungraded products, device hardware and diagnostic testing among them, are affiliate links, and where one exists EBL may receive a commission or referral fee from the merchant. EBL earns $0 on every supplement it grades. A paid device can still sit under a graded therapy, and where one does, the product says so beside its buy link. The active commercial relationships are named rather than left as a category: VBX Pro, Holy Hydrogen, TruDiagnostic, Everlywell, Sunlighten and Truvaga. None carries an EBL grade. Any such compensation comes at no additional cost to you: for those ungraded product links the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or navigate to the merchant directly.

That sentence does not describe the supplement dispensary, and it is worth being exact about why. Through the dispensary the price you pay is lower than the merchant's own price, not the same, and EBL receives none of the difference. Laboratory and testing vendors are a third case again: most are named for reference only with no commercial relationship at all, and where a relationship does exist it is an affiliate link on an ungraded service, disclosed on the page that relies on it. All three are set out below.

The rule that governs every link on this site

No grade is ever tied to a sale, a sponsorship, or a payment. Nothing you can buy changes a letter. EBL earns nothing on anything it grades.

Every supplement, protocol, medication and device modality on this site carries an evidence grade, and EBL receives $0 on all of them, in every account, at every membership tier, with no exceptions. Commission income on this site comes only from things EBL does not grade. Today that is device hardware and diagnostic testing. No product carries a letter: a specific device product is described by its delivery specifications, not by a letter. But people buy a device because the therapy behind it is graded, so a paid device under a graded therapy is a real conflict, and EBL fences it rather than denying it. Where one exists, the product says so beside its buy link, the therapy's grade can move only by a logged review that names the evidence, and paid products are listed alphabetically among unpaid ones, never first.

Where EBL earns $0. Every graded item:

  • The Fullscript practitioner dispensary, our supplement fulfillment route. It is a practitioner dispensary: readers reach it through EBL's practitioner account, and many of the professional-grade brands in it are sold mainly through practitioners rather than in health food stores. EBL retains no portion of the practitioner discount. Readers without a membership are routed to a no-profit Fullscript account and receive an automatic discount at checkout. Members are routed to a full-pass-through account and receive a larger one, because the margin that would ordinarily go to the practitioner is passed to the member instead. EBL's revenue is $0 in both. Your price is shown at checkout.

For anyone buying supplements regularly this is the practical case for a membership rather than a moral one: at current discount levels, ordering roughly $80 to $100 of nutrition in a month saves more than the $19 monthly membership costs, so the membership pays for itself and the rest of EBL comes with it.

Clinicians are a separate case. A clinician holds their own dispensary, sets their own margin and dispenses under their own license. That is their revenue, not EBL's, and EBL takes no part of it.
  • Every supplement maker. EBL grades supplements as ingredients, at the form and dose the trials used, and shows no supplement brand or manufacturer. It earns nothing from any supplement maker. Where a company that makes supplements also sells a diagnostic test, only the test can appear on this site, on the testing page, and any relationship with it is stated there.
  • Every graded protocol, medication and device modality, nothing bearing a letter on this site generates income for EBL. A paid device can still sit under a graded therapy, and where one does, the product says so beside its buy link.

Where a commission is possible. Ungraded items only:

  • Device-hardware manufacturers, including (but not limited to) Joovv, Sunlighten, HigherDOSE, PlatinumLED, The Plunge, OxyHealth, OxyHelp, BEMER, Pulse PEMF, FlexPulse, CAROL Bike, Power Plate, Muse, Nurosym, Vielight. No device product on this site carries an evidence grade. A device product usually sits under a therapy that is graded (red-light therapy, sauna, vibration), and a letter on the therapy is a reason to buy the box. That is a real conflict, so it is fenced rather than denied. Where EBL is paid on a product, the product says so beside its buy link. The therapy's grade is locked when the relationship is registered and changes only through a logged review that names the evidence. Paid products are listed with unpaid ones in alphabetical order, never first because of a deal, and every paid product states how it compares with what the trials used. Supplements are different by choice: EBL takes no commission on any supplement, so no supplement grade can be suspected of being bought.

Being named is not being paid

The list above is a list of manufacturers whose hardware EBL references, not a list of companies that pay EBL. Most of them pay nothing, and EBL has no agreement of any kind with them. At the effective date above, EBL holds six active commercial relationships site-wide: VBX Pro, Holy Hydrogen, TruDiagnostic, Everlywell, Sunlighten and Truvaga. All six are named here, all six are ungraded, and each is disclosed beside the link wherever it appears.

The heading is written as a possibility rather than a fact because the category is where commission income can arise at all. It does not describe every company in it, and a mention here is not evidence of a payment.

Companies EBL does not list

EBL does not list products from a company whose partner terms, published or offered to EBL, require EBL not to list, link to or promote competing products. The test is the terms, never whether a company pays: a company with no relationship with EBL is listed on the same basis as one with a relationship.

Ordinary program rules, such as no bidding on a brand's name in search ads, no coupon sites and a required affiliate disclosure, are not exclusivity. The terms of every listed device and testing company were checked on September 25, 2026. None publishes an exclusivity requirement. One company asked EBL for exclusivity in a private offer, and its product is no longer listed.

Laboratory and testing vendors. Ungraded, and mostly unpaid:

  • Diagnostic-test & laboratory vendors, including (but not limited to) TruDiagnostic, InsideTracker, Function Health, Everlywell, Marek Health, GRAIL, OmegaQuant, Berkeley Life, Elysium Health. No laboratory, test or testing product on this site carries an evidence grade. Most of these vendors are named for reference only, with no affiliate or tracking link and no revenue of any kind. GRAIL is one of them, and one fact about it is disclosed here: EBL's founder holds an unpaid provider and affiliate account with GRAIL, which pays EBL nothing, no commission and no fee. The Galleri test carries no letter, and the multi-cancer early detection record that names it is graded D on the trials alone. One is different and is named here for that reason: EBL holds an affiliate relationship with TruDiagnostic, and may earn a commission on an ungraded test ordered through it. That is permitted by the rule above for the same reason device hardware is: the service carries no letter. Where EBL cites a specific test it says so on the page itself.

If an item on this site carries a letter, EBL earns nothing on it. That is the entire test, and it is the reason the letter can be trusted.

What EBL earns, in full

Six commercial relationships, and there are no others. VBX Pro pays a commission on vibration hardware. Holy Hydrogen, the US seller the manufacturer links to, pays a commission on the Lourdes Hydrofix hydrogen water generator. TruDiagnostic pays a commission on epigenetic testing. Everlywell pays a commission on at-home lab testing. Sunlighten pays a commission on infrared sauna hardware. Truvaga pays a commission on vagus nerve stimulation hardware. All six are ungraded, all six are disclosed, and none carries a letter on this site. EBL adds no fee of any kind to anything a reader buys through these links, and takes nothing from the price. Membership is the one thing EBL charges for, and its price is on the membership page.

We state the complete list here rather than describing it in general terms, because a disclosure a reader cannot count is a disclosure they have to trust.

Affiliate links are typically identified by visual indicators at the point of use, such as a "Buy" button on device hardware or a chip reading "Commission · Ungraded hardware". Every device product also states in its own entry whether EBL earns a commission on it: "EBL earns a commission on this product" or "EBL earns no commission on this product." A "Practitioner dispensary →" link is not an affiliate link and is deliberately not in that list: EBL earns nothing on it, as set out above. This site-wide disclosure applies to all product links throughout the site regardless of whether an individual link is labeled.

The existence of an affiliate relationship does not mean we recommend a product. We link to products we have independently reviewed based on the published scientific evidence. We do not link to products solely because an affiliate program exists, and we do not refuse to criticize products simply because we participate in their affiliate program.

Section 03

Evidence-Rating Disclaimer

EBL applies a proprietary evidence-tier rating system (Grades A–D) to longevity supplements, compounds, devices, and interventions. These ratings represent our independent assessment of the quality, consistency, and relevance of the published scientific literature, nothing more and nothing less.

Our evidence ratings are not:

  • Evaluations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA does not evaluate or approve dietary supplements for safety or efficacy before they are marketed.
  • Clinical recommendations, treatment guidelines, or endorsements from any medical or scientific body.
  • Guarantees of safety, efficacy, or health outcomes for any individual.
  • Statements that a supplement will prevent, treat, cure, or mitigate any disease or health condition.

How tiers are assigned. The editor reviews peer-reviewed research (randomized controlled trials People are assigned to the treatment or a comparison by chance, so the groups differ only in what they received. It is the design that can show cause and effect., systematic reviews A review that searches for every study on a question using a method set in advance, then assesses them together., meta-analyses A study that pools the numbers from several trials into one combined estimate., and observational Research that watches what people already do rather than assigning a treatment. It can show that two things travel together, not that one causes the other. studies) and applies a structured rubric: study size, methodology quality, replication The same finding reproduced by a separate research group. A result seen once can be chance or bias; a replicated one is harder to explain away. across independent labs, relevance to human longevity endpoints The outcome a trial measures to decide whether the treatment worked, such as heart attacks, blood pressure or a symptom score., and recency of findings. Animal-only data never enters a grade. The full methodology is described on the Learn / Methodology page.

Scientific understanding of longevity and supplementation is evolving rapidly. A rating assigned today may not reflect findings published in the future. We endeavor to update ratings as significant new evidence emerges; every revision is logged publicly on What's New.

A high evidence tier indicates that a body of published research supports a hypothesis, not that the compound has been proven to extend human lifespan or improve health outcomes in every individual.

Section 04

Editorial Independence

The value of EBL depends entirely on readers trusting that ratings and content are not for sale. The following principles govern editorial process:

  • Affiliate relationships do not determine coverage. We review based on research significance and editorial judgment. It is worth being concrete rather than pious about this: EBL holds a commercial link with a single ungraded device product, and no supplement, protocol, medication or device modality on this site carries an affiliate relationship of any kind. There is no supplement affiliate program here that could influence a review, because there is no supplement affiliate program here at all.
  • No payment for ratings. No company or individual may pay to improve a supplement's evidence tier, featured status, or ranking. Any such request will be declined and publicly noted if persistent.
  • Grades are independent of commerce. We earn no commission on any supplement, and no product carries a grade. Where a paid device sits under a graded therapy, the product says so beside its buy link, and the letter cannot be bought or moved by a commercial relationship. A higher commission never lifts a product up the tier ladder, a Grade A stays Grade A and a Grade C stays Grade C on the evidence alone. The complete list of what EBL earns anything on is six ungraded relationships, and it is in Section 01.
  • No sponsored reviews without clear disclosure. If we ever publish sponsored content (content for which compensation was received) it will be prominently labeled "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" and segregated from independently produced reviews. As of the effective date above, EBL does not accept sponsored reviews.
  • Criticism is not suppressed by commercial relationships. If we identify meaningful risks, limitations, or evidence gaps in a product sold by any partner, we report them, and the interaction and contraindication data on this site is written to surface them rather than to sell around them. Our obligation is to readers, not to commercial relationships.
  • Conflicts disclosed proactively. Where the editor or any reviewer holds a personal, financial, or professional relationship with a brand being reviewed, that reviewer is excluded from the editorial process for that review. The full conflict of interest policy appears on the Learn page.

This editorial-independence statement is made voluntarily and reflects EBL's operating standards. Readers who identify content they believe has been influenced by commercial factors are encouraged to contact us.

Section 05

No Third-Party Endorsement

References to specific brands, products, organizations, researchers, or publications on this site do not imply that those parties endorse EBL, our methodology, or our ratings. All product names, trademarks, and registered marks are the property of their respective owners.

Citations to published research are provided for transparency and ease of verification. The authors or institutions whose work we cite have not reviewed or approved our interpretation of their findings. We make every effort to represent research accurately; readers are encouraged to review the primary sources cited (PubMed links are provided throughout the site).

Section 06

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EBL and its operator disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or reliance on any content, product, service, or recommendation on this site;
  • Any health outcome, adverse event, or interaction resulting from supplement use described on this site;
  • Inaccuracies or errors in evidence summaries or ratings;
  • Your use of any third-party website linked from this site;
  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the site or its content.

This site and all its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Section 07

Customer Service & Returns

Evidence Based Longevity is an independent educational platform. We do not sell, fulfill, ship, or handle any products directly. All purchases made through links on this site are transactions between you and the respective manufacturer, retailer, or dispensary.

For returns, exchanges, refunds, or product support: contact the manufacturer or retailer directly. EBL has no authority to process, mediate, or expedite returns on behalf of any third party.

This applies to all products linked from the site, supplements (Fullscript or brand direct), devices (manufacturer or authorized resellers), and diagnostic tests (TruDiagnostic, InsideTracker, Function Health, Everlywell, Marek Health, GRAIL, OmegaQuant, Berkeley Life, Elysium Health, etc.), which are the same vendors named in Section 01.

For supplements ordered through the Fullscript dispensary (linked from EBL via /go/buy), contact Fullscript directly at fullscript.com/contact for all order and return inquiries. Fullscript manages all fulfillment and customer service for dispensary orders.

Section 08

Review Units, Samples & Hosted Travel

Manufacturers, distributors and event organizers sometimes offer products or travel at no charge. This section sets out what EBL accepts, what it refuses, and what it publishes when it accepts anything.

The rule

Receiving something creates no obligation to write about it, and no obligation to write about it favorably. Everything EBL receives is logged below, whatever its value, and whether or not the product ever appears on this site.

What counts as a review unit. Any supplement, device, diagnostic, laboratory test, service or subscription of a type EBL grades or could grade, provided at no charge or reduced charge by a manufacturer, distributor, retailer or any party acting for one. This covers items received by any route: direct shipment, conference and exhibition-hall distribution, trade-show sampling, and items provided in connection with a meeting or interview.

Branded promotional goods, printed materials, meals and refreshments are outside EBL's evaluative scope, are not review units, and are not logged.

Receipt creates no obligation. EBL does not agree to evaluate, grade, list, mention or review any product in exchange for a review unit. A unit may be received and the product may never appear here. Receipt does not accelerate review, does not affect the order in which products are evaluated, and does not affect any grade assigned.

What EBL does not sell. EBL does not sell grades, placement, favorable characterization, review priority, or advance sight of unpublished content. No consideration of any kind creates an obligation regarding what EBL publishes.

Personal time is a separate matter and is not covered by this section. Where EBL's editor is compensated for his own time in the form of a product, meeting or fee, the product is logged in the register below and the arrangement conveys nothing about EBL's evaluative output.

Event attendance and hosted travel. EBL may accept travel, lodging, registration or hospitality from a conference or event organizer in connection with coverage of that event, subject to all of the following:

  • Coverage is descriptive. It reports what was presented and by whom. It does not characterize any product as effective or promising.
  • No advance review. The organizer receives no draft, no approval right, no right to request changes, and no assurance that anything will be published at all.
  • No grade linkage. No product encountered at a hosted event is graded, regraded or listed as a consequence of the visit. Products enter the normal evaluation pipeline on published human trial evidence only.
  • Disclosure appears at the top of any resulting coverage, naming the organizer and stating what was provided.
  • The arrangement is listed in the register below.
  • Hosted travel is accepted only from event organizers, never from a manufacturer directly. Where an organizer's event revenue comes substantially from exhibitors within EBL's graded scope, that is stated in the disclosure.

Where EBL attends an event at its own expense, nothing published about that event is owed to any party and no disclosure under this section applies.

What is never accepted:

  • Cash payment for evaluation, review, coverage or placement.
  • Consulting, advisory or speaking fees from any manufacturer whose products fall within EBL's graded scope.
  • Equity or options in any such manufacturer.
  • Any arrangement conditioned on the content of what EBL publishes.

Disclosure on entries. Any entry for a product where EBL received a review unit carries the notice "Evaluation unit provided by manufacturer" together with the date of receipt. The notice is permanent. It remains regardless of the grade assigned, regardless of any later commercial relationship, and regardless of whether the unit was returned or disposed of. It applies to Emerging Research entries as well as to graded ones.

Interaction with commissions. Where an entry carries both a review-unit disclosure and a commission relationship, both appear on the entry; neither replaces the other. EBL does not accept a review unit from a manufacturer with which a commission arrangement is under negotiation.

The register

Every review unit and hosted-travel arrangement is listed here permanently, showing the date received, the providing party, the item, and whether the product appears on this site.

No review units or hosted-travel arrangements have been received as of September 4, 2026. This line is replaced by the first entry, not added to.

Retention. Review units are retained for reference or disposed of. They are not sold or resold.

This policy applies to every party without exception. It is published so that a reader can check EBL's conduct against a written rule rather than take an assurance on trust.

Section 09

Contact

Questions about these disclosures, concerns about specific content, or requests related to affiliate relationships may be directed through the contact form.

EBL reserves the right to update these disclosures at any time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent version was published. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date and logged on What's New. Continued use of the site following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised disclosures.
