The agreement, in plain language.
These Terms govern your use of evidencebasedlongevity.co and everything on it, the evidence grades, the tools, and the membership tiers. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past. Where a term has real consequences for you, it is stated directly rather than buried.
You accept these Terms when you check the box stating that you agree to them before you create an account or buy a membership. EBL keeps a record of the version you accepted and the date and time you accepted it. These Terms also apply to anyone who uses the site without an account. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Evidence Based Longevity is an educational publication. It grades the strength of published human evidence. It does not practice medicine, does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not tell you what to take. No page on this site is a recommendation, and nothing here creates a doctor–patient relationship. Every decision about your health belongs to you and your physician. Section 02 says this at length because it is the single most important term in this agreement.
Who You Are Contracting With
Evidence Based Longevity ("EBL", "we", "us") is Evidence Based Longevity, Inc., a California corporation based in Tarzana, California. When these Terms say "we", that is who you are contracting with.
"You" means the individual using the site or purchasing a membership. If you are using the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
Educational Only, Not Medical Advice
This is the term that defines everything else, so it is stated without hedging.
- Nothing on this site is a recommendation. EBL grades how strong the published human evidence is for a given supplement, medication interaction, device, or protocol. A grade describes a body of literature. It does not tell you what to take, what to stop, or what to avoid. A high grade is not an instruction to use something, and a low grade is not an instruction to avoid it.
- No doctor–patient relationship is created by reading this site, using any tool on it, or holding a membership. Arnold Sandlow, D.C. is a licensed chiropractor; publishing this site is not the practice of chiropractic, medicine, nutrition counseling, or any other licensed profession, and no clinical relationship arises from your use of it.
- No diagnosis, treatment, or prescription. The tools on this site organize published evidence against inputs you supply. The output shows what EBL’s records say about the medications, measures, conditions, and supplements you enter, with citations. It is not a clinical assessment. It does not decide what is safe for you, and it does not tell you what to take, stop, or change.
- Acting on anything here is a decision for your physician, particularly starting or stopping any supplement, changing any prescribed medication, or altering a treatment plan. Supplements interact with prescription drugs. Some of those interactions are dangerous. Your prescriber knows your history; this site does not.
- Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911.
- Statements about supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Evidence changes. A grade reflects the literature as of its stated review date and may be revised or withdrawn as new trials publish. The citation audit lists corrections that have already been made.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a membership, and at least 16 to use the site. By creating an account or buying a membership, you state that you meet these age limits. EBL does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. See the Privacy Policy.
The EBL Clinical tier is available only to licensed healthcare practitioners. Applications are reviewed, and license verification is a condition of acceptance and of any directory listing.
What Each Tier Includes
The full feature list is on the membership page. What matters contractually is the following.
- The evidence is free and stays free. Every grade, every PMID PubMed ID: the permanent number the US National Library of Medicine gives a published paper. Each one links to that paper's record on PubMed. citation, and every methodology explanation is available without payment and without an email gate. Membership does not unlock evidence. It is not a paywall on any grade, citation, or safety warning.
- Feature availability during launch. The site is in active development. Tools listed under a paid tier may be open to all visitors during a launch period, and features described as in development are not yet available. Where a feature is not yet built, the membership page says so on the feature itself. Paying for a membership today does not entitle you to a feature that is marked as in development, and no delivery date for such a feature is promised.
- Features can change. Tools may be added, changed, or retired. If a change materially reduces what a paid tier includes, you will be notified by email at least 7 days before it takes effect, with instructions on how to cancel, and may cancel under Section 06.
- Membership grants no editorial influence. No member, at any tier, has any input on any grade. This is a term of the agreement, not a courtesy.
- EBL-reviewed audits are not included in any tier. A self-generated audit is machine output and is unlimited. An EBL-reviewed audit is a report EBL issues after checking that output by hand: for each graded item EBL confirms the cited paper exists and is attributed to its real first author and journal, checks the dose and study population against the trial that produced the grade, confirms the direction of the reported result, and screens the citation for retraction or erratum. Reviewed audits are quoted individually. Turnaround is agreed in writing in that quote before work begins; EBL advertises no standard turnaround. Stack size is fixed in the same quote, and a stack larger than the quoted size is requoted rather than partially reviewed. Where a citation fails verification, EBL states the failure in the issued report and describes what the evidence does and does not support; EBL does not substitute a different paper to preserve a grade, and a failed verification is not grounds for withholding the report. A reviewed audit describes published evidence and is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a recommendation to start or stop anything.
Automatic Renewal & Billing
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- EBL Pro monthly: $19.00 USD charged every month. EBL Pro annual: $149.00 USD charged every 12 months.
- EBL Clinical: $199.00 USD charged every month. Founding 25: $0 for the first 180 days, then $99.00 or $199.00 USD charged every month, as your enrollment terms state, until you cancel.
- Renewal date: the same day of the month you subscribed (the same date each year on the annual plan), or, for Founding 25, the day after your free period ends, not the first of the month.
- No minimum term. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- To cancel: see Section 06. Cancellation is online, by email or through the subscription-management page (Manage my membership, also linked in any Stripe receipt or renewal email); there is no phone call and no retention process.
- Reminders: EBL emails a reminder of these renewal terms at least once a year. For the annual plan, EBL also emails you 15 to 45 days before each renewal. For a free period longer than 31 days, EBL emails you 3 to 21 days before it ends. Each notice states the charge, how often it recurs, and how to cancel.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. EBL never receives or stores your full card number. Your payment is also subject to Stripe's own terms.
Acknowledgment after purchase. After you subscribe, you will receive an email confirmation stating the automatic renewal terms, the amount and frequency of the recurring charge, the cancellation policy, and how to cancel, and, for a free period, how to cancel before you are charged. Keep it. It is also the fastest route to the subscription-management link.
Price changes. If the price of your subscription changes, you will be notified by email between 7 and 30 days before the change takes effect, and the notice will state the new amount, the date it applies, and how to cancel. Continuing past that date is acceptance of the new price. A price you were told is locked stays locked for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted.
Failed payments. If a charge fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds. Repeated failure may end the subscription.
Taxes. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any sales or use tax, which is added where required.
Switching plans. You may switch between monthly and annual at any time. Stripe prorates the unused portion of the current period as a credit against the new plan.
Your enrollment terms. The renewal terms shown beside the box you check at checkout, or on your Founding 25 enrollment page, are part of these Terms. If they conflict with this section on price, free period, or billing date, the enrollment terms you accepted control.
How to Cancel
Two routes, both online, neither requiring you to speak to anyone:
- Email admin@evidencebasedlongevity.co with the subject "Cancel my membership", or use the pre-addressed cancellation email link on the membership page. Send it from the address you subscribed with, or name that address in the message. Cancellation takes effect on receipt. You will get written confirmation, and no reply from you is needed beyond the initial email.
- Use the subscription-management page linked in your Stripe receipt or renewal email, which lets you cancel directly. The same page is always at Manage my membership, where you sign in with the email you subscribed with.
Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee, no retention call, and no requirement to give a reason.
Refunds
30-day money-back window. If you request a refund within 30 days of your first charge, you get the full amount back, no questions asked. Email admin@evidencebasedlongevity.co. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
After 30 days. Cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. The unused portion of that period is not refunded.
Billing errors. A charge made in error (a duplicate, a charge after a confirmed cancellation, a wrong amount) is refunded in full whenever it is found, inside or outside the 30-day window. This is separate from the refund policy above and is not limited by it.
Founding 25 members. The 30-day money-back window does not apply to a founding seat, because a founding seat carries 180 days of access before any charge is made. You can cancel at any point in those 180 days and pay nothing. EBL emails you 3 to 21 days before your free period ends. After the first charge, cancellation follows the paragraph above: future charges stop and the current period is not refunded. Billing errors are still corrected in full at any time.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Affiliate Links & Independence
EBL earns no commission on any item that carries an evidence grade, including every supplement ordered through the practitioner dispensary, in every account and at every membership tier. Some links to ungraded items (device hardware and diagnostic-testing services) are affiliate links on which EBL may earn a commission, at no additional cost to you. The full accounting of what earns commission and what does not is on the disclosure page. EBL keeps that page current.
Commercial relationships do not influence any grade. A product's presence on this site is not an endorsement of it, and an affiliate link is not a recommendation to buy.
Intellectual Property
The content on this site (the written analysis, the grading methodology, the grade assignments, the page designs, and the EBL name and logo) is owned by Evidence Based Longevity, Inc. and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
What you may do: read it, print it for your own use, bring it to your physician, and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back.
What you may not do: republish substantial portions, mirror the site, sell or redistribute the content, or use it to train a machine-learning model, without written permission. Automated bulk extraction of the grade database or citation set is not permitted.
Cited research papers belong to their publishers. EBL links to PubMed records; it does not host copyrighted full texts.
Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its infrastructure, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, impersonate EBL, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Do not present EBL content to others as clinical advice from a treating provider.
Access may be suspended or ended for conduct that violates this section. If a paid membership is terminated for a violation, any unused prepaid portion is refunded pro rata.
Third-Party Services & Links
This site links to outside services: PubMed, retailers, dispensaries, testing laboratories, and payment processing through Stripe. Those services are operated by others under their own terms and privacy policies. EBL does not control them and is not responsible for their products, pricing, availability, shipping, data handling, or the accuracy of what they publish.
Practitioners listed in any EBL directory are independent professionals. They are not employees or agents of EBL, EBL does not supervise their clinical work, and a listing is not a warranty of any outcome.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. EBL works hard at citation accuracy and publishes its own corrections, but does not warrant that the content is error-free, complete, or current, or that the site will be uninterrupted. EBL does not warrant that any grade, interaction, depletion A fall in a nutrient's level caused by a medication, for example through reduced absorption or increased loss., or avoid record applies to you, or that a tool result lists every interaction for what you take.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EBL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the site. EBL's total liability for any claim relating to the site or a membership is limited to the greater of the amount you paid EBL in the 12 months before the claim arose or $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, willful injury, gross negligence, or violation of law, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law.
You are responsible for your own health decisions. You agree to consult a qualified healthcare professional before you act on content from this site. You assume the risk of any action you take based on it, including any action you take without that consultation.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EBL harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of anyone else's rights, except to the extent EBL’s own conduct caused the claim.
Changes to These Terms
Revision of October 7, 2026, after attorney review. Acceptance is now by an unchecked box with a stored record; Section 05 states the EBL Clinical and Founding 25 charges, the billing date for each plan, and the renewal reminders EBL sends; price-change notice is now 7 to 30 days; the liability cap has a $100 floor; disputes go to the courts of Los Angeles County or the Central District of California; and the provider's address and telephone are stated in Section 15. No price changed, and there were no active members on the date of the change.
Change of 4 September 2026, identity of the contracting party. The business incorporated on 1 September 2026 as Evidence Based Longevity, Inc., a California corporation. Section 01 previously named a sole proprietorship and undertook to record the change here. The counterparty to these Terms is now the corporation. No pricing, renewal, cancellation or refund term changed with it, and there were no active members on the date of the change.
These Terms may be updated. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. For a change that materially affects your rights (pricing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, or the identity of the contracting party) active members will be notified by email between 7 and 30 days before it takes effect, and may cancel before then under Section 06. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect is acceptance of it. A change does not apply to a dispute that arose before the change took effect.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state courts located in Los Angeles County, California, or the federal court for the Central District of California, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver in this agreement. You keep every right you have to bring a claim, including in small-claims court.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
