The EBL evidence feed
The same letters as the grade dataset, one file per graded record at a fixed address, for software that needs the letters for one intervention: a health app, a research tool, an AI system. Each file holds the record’s headline letter, every letter it carries for a specific use, the PubMed IDs behind each, and every published change to its letters.
The files are written from the EBL database on every build and checked against it before the site publishes, so they never disagree with the record pages.
The addresses
- https://evidencebasedlongevity.co/api/v1/index.json: every graded record with its headline letter, its page and its feed address, plus the version, license, citation, grade scale and field definitions.
https://evidencebasedlongevity.co/api/v1/records/<collection>/<id>.json: one record. The index gives the exact address of each.
This version, 2026-10-9ae4386fa2, serves 250 graded records and 394 letters for specific uses. They are plain files: no key, no account and no limit on reading them. They are sent with a header that lets code on another website read them directly.
Versions
Every file carries the version of the grade dataset it was written with. The feed and the dataset are written from the same rows on the same build, so a version names exactly one set of letters in both. The files are rewritten on every build and checked against the database before the site publishes. The address scheme stays fixed under v1; a change that would break a reader of these files would go out under a new one.
What each field holds
key: Collection and record id, joined by a slash. Stable across versions; the same key as the dataset's record_key.collection: supplements, protocols, device_modalities or longevity_rx.id: The record's id in the EBL database.name: The record's name as published.kind: Supplement, Protocol, Device or modality, Longevity Rx, or Not counted as a supplement.url: The record's page on evidencebasedlongevity.co, where the written evidence behind every letter is published.last_reviewed: Month of the record's latest review (YYYY-MM).headline: The record's headline letter: its scope, grade, endpoint type, evidence type and PubMed IDs.uses: Every letter the record carries for a specific use, each with the same five fields. In the record's own order, never sorted by letter.grade_changes: Every published change to the record's letters: the month and the summary as the Evidence Log prints it. Newest first.grade: A, B, C or D, as defined in the grade scale in the index.endpoint_type: hard, functional, clinician_rated, self_report or surrogate, as the record states it.pmids: PubMed IDs behind the letter. Empty only for a D that rests on a documented search finding no trial; the search is on the record's page.

What is not in it
The written evidence behind each letter (notes, as-studied details, grade readings) is published one record at a time on each record's page and is not in this dataset. Records are listed by collection and name, never by letter. A letter answers one question about one outcome; two letters on different outcomes are not a ranking. The feed carries no information about any person.
